Professor Mercadante is a wonderful professor, who genuinely cares about his students & the material. I think he presents material well and is a useful resource when it comes to challenging concepts.

I loved this course. Professor Mercadante is always so kind and supportive, and I thought that this course was not only mentally stimulating and engaging, but a course where I was actually able to learn and participate with the material.

[Prof. Mercadante] was really open to everyone's opinions and thoughts and made sure to be inclusive during discussions.

I learned a lot and saw the other perspective, while being able to voice mine.

Examples in class were helpful for explaining all of the different concepts, and the classwide discussions about readings were great... During those discussions, I would flip flop which side I was on, even though I was sure about one side before the discussion.

Phenomenal professor! Knows a lot about what he teaches and is prepared to answer every question we have.
