The professr was great. He was able to explain complex concepts very clearly and was very approachable.
One of my favorite professors this semester! clearly very passionate about the course and what he does.
How inclusive did you find this class environment towards people of diverse backgrounds?
[Prof. Mercadante] was really open to everyone's opinions and thoughts and made sure to be inclusive during discussions.
I learned a lot and saw the other perspective, while being able to voice mine.
How effective was the instructor in explaining challenging concepts and/or methods?
Examples in class were helpful for explaining all of the different concepts, and the classwide discussions about readings were great... During those discussions, I would flip flop which side I was on, even though I was sure about one side before the discussion.
How clearly did the instructor communicate what was expected of you in this course?
He did a really great job this semester!! Made a 9:30 class very enjoyable and fun.
