I am a post-doctoral research scholar in Management and Organizations at NYU Stern. I received my PhD from University of British Columbia in social-personality psychology in 2023.
My research investigates how and why people act unethically in pursuit of indicators of success (e.g., wealth, power, status). I address these topics from the perspective of both the individual success-seekers, with a focus on the interplay between personality and emotion, and the observers who evaluate those individuals and their behaviors.
In my work, I use a variety methods, such as self- and other-report surveys in cross-sectional and longitudinal designs as well as big-data approaches like natural language processing and analysis of large archival datasets.
